Hey y'all, Tayden Carpenter here with Southeastern Oklahoma State Baseball, and today I'm gonna be talking about if no one's been in my town, how I would describe it and what makes my town unique. Well, first off, I'm from Magnolia, Texas. It's a very decent-sized little town, just about 30 minutes from College Station, about 30 minutes from Taunt Ball, about 30 minutes from the Woodlands, about an hour and a half from Houston. And we're pretty unique because we can go from anywhere from rundown to a million-dollar house. You can go to the golf course, which has one of the biggest greens in Texas, which is called High Meadow Ranch, or you can go about three miles down the road and get you a $1 taco from a Mexican stand, because that's how unique our little town is, because everything's almost family-owned or there's small chains around. You always feel welcome no matter where you go, if it's the library, the gym, or just a restaurant. You always feel welcome in our town, and the best thing I find historic was when George Bush died, the train went right through our town, and they shut down the whole road for everyone to let everyone watch the train go by, and it was pretty unique because that's once in a lifetime you'll ever see that, and it's pretty amazing just to see how that train can come through our town, and not many towns get to experience that. And more and more, we also have one of the biggest rivals, I think, around our area, which is Magnolia West versus Magnolia, and we're just separated by one little railroad. And I came from Magnolia West, so I think Magnolia West is better because we won state my senior year in 2023 for baseball. But like I said, if you just go to Magnolia, it's very family-friendly, very fun, and just unique because it's just a nice little town to hang out and grow a family with.
