Hi, my name is Robert Turner, and I'm a student athlete from Bloomfield, Connecticut. An important mentor within my high school years is definitely my high school soccer coach. He was definitely a person that challenged me in a lot of different ways that went more beyond physical, but was more mental. He would challenge me to always strive for consistency and be disciplined. And over time, that taught me a lot about accountability and perseverance, which, you know, I thank Coach Condie to this day for. And, you know, who he is beyond just a coach is my friend. You know, someone that I continue to have a good relationship with and someone that is always there for me just for any type of advice or if I need to talk. It doesn't have to be an everyday talk, but, you know, I can just simply reach out and I just know that he was going to respond. You know, his story motivates me a lot because he didn't come from, you know, this big background or anything, but he started off small. He went to a division through college, and then next thing you know, he's traveling and playing professional around Europe. And his story motivates me so much because, you know, it taught me that I don't need this big platform or this perfect beginning to create something meaningful. Because if you had something that he had, which was, you know, just a good work ethic and a really good mindset, you know, it can take you very far. And you can build something very big just from using something so small. It's hard to acquire though, and he continuously is helping me. I'm growing that to this day.
