The question

Name three small business owners in your community who have had a meaningful impact on others or inspired you personally. Who are they, and why do they stand out as a pillar of your community?

The answer, as recorded

Three small business owners in my community, Kansas City, who have all had a very meaningful impact on me and really the community, are one, and I'll get into depth on all of them after I explain all three of them. One, I actually do not know her name, sadly, but she is a wonderful woman and she owns this butcher shop called Uppercut KC. It is just phenomenal, just the kindness and care that they have for everyone that comes in there, and it's all homegrown meats that they sell. They're doing everything the right way. So many people come together to eat there, and it's all organic, too, is the greatest part, and they're just slowly rising more and more in Kansas City, and it's just so great to see. Another one, Nick Griffith, my trainer, a trainer at Elevate U Performance in Kansas City. He started, you know, wasn't very known, and then just the more athletes that have come to him, the more athletes who have been getting scholarship opportunities in college. And it's just so amazing to me and to others in the community how a trainer can literally change a community like that because of so many people going off to college because of this guy. And last but not least, third, his name is Aaron. He started a business called A2 Fitness, also another fitness company just like Elevate. He actually worked alongside Nick for a little bit, but not anymore. And this is more, it's training, but for, it's usually for older people, mainly like parents. And it's so great, and the reason I say like mainly parents is because they'll have workouts that are like specifically for moms to come in, and they'll have someone to watch their kids. They can leave their kids in the lobby. They'll have people to watch them while everyone can go work out, have a great time for 45 minutes, and then come back to their kids, and they're all well-behaved and safe. And again, you know, started out kind of small, and now he's expanded his building. Aaron has, and he's just doing great, and so many people are influenced by what he does for this community.
