The question
If someone had never been to your hometown, how would you describe its character and reputation? What makes it unique, memorable, or influential?

Hey, this is Aisha Merchant from Owensboro, Kentucky, reporting for Hello Nation. So if someone had never been to my hometown, to describe the reputation and what makes it unique would be all the festivals and the little businesses around town that make everything so special. So for one, there's a place called Reed's Orchard. It provides so much fresh, healthy produce for all the local people, and when you come in, you want to visit it because it has the best produce in town. A couple other events that we have that are super fun would be Romp. There's one weekend every summer where you can go and listen to upcoming bands, even some really famous bands, and connect with people in the community. Also, there's Porch Fest, which happens on one street of the city every week where people invite businesses and bands to play music on their front lawn, and everyone goes to the people's houses, hangs out, and enjoys company together.
