Hi, my name is Josiah Wolfenbarger, and today I'm going to tell you guys about a teacher who really inspired me back home. From LaGrange, Kentucky, when I went to Centerfield Elementary School, my teacher, Mrs. Thomas, was just a brilliant teacher. She stood up for me. She helped push me to learn and to push myself. That's the really important thing, is that she pushed me to push myself. Every day it would be, you know, focus on your school, do what you need to do, don't get distracted. And sometimes I'd get upset with her, but other times I'd realize that, okay, this woman genuinely cares about me and about my success. And the lesson that she's taught me that still sticks with me today is trying to find the best in everybody. Some people may put up a front on the outside. Some people may be tough to get to the inside. But everyone has a gift. Everyone is special in their own way, and people deserve to have that recognized. This is Josiah Wolfenbarger from LaGrange, Kentucky.
