I personally think Lincoln is the best place to raise a family and I myself will be raising a family and staying in Lincoln because it's just the perfect it's like in between a town and city it's small enough where you definitely like everybody knows everybody but then it's also big enough where there are still things to do. You can go downtown Lincoln where your campus like the UNL campuses but then there's also so many restaurants, shops, stuff to do. There's still there's Gateway Mall that is north of Lincoln that has a lot of shops there's Southpointe Mall in the south of Lincoln. There are so many high schools and elementary schools and middle schools that are around and there's still so especially for younger children there are so many things to do. I personally nanny in the summers for a family in Lincoln and when nannying I have three elementary school to middle school aged children so I'm wanting to find activities for them to do so I'll take them to the Children's Museum which is downtown Lincoln, the Lincoln Children's Zoo and of course in the summer there's so many public pools such as Star City Shores that are just great places to take children and to keep them entertained throughout the summer.
