Hi, my name is Larkin Wilson. I went to Bentonville High School. I just graduated this year. I want to nominate Ms. Parker because she is by far the best teacher I've had. She was an engineering teacher at Bentonville High School, and she taught us so many different things from taking toys and using that circuitry to adapt them for kids with disabilities, to adapt them with buttons. She taught us how to solder. She taught us robotics. We learned through CAD, like the development software. All these things that she had taught me, I'm not going to only just use in my engineering degree, but all the life skills that are really harder to teach, like just resiliency, hard work, knowing what to do when something doesn't always go right because in engineering, it doesn't always go right. All those lessons, I'm going to continue to take with me, and I think she's by far one of the hardest teachers I think I've had, but one of the best.
