Community Voices: Mason on why Valparaiso is a good place to raise a family

A couple things that make my community Valparaiso, Indiana a great place to raise a family are the people that are around you constantly. They are very happy, very nice, very caring about everybody.

Mason Nobles (Cross Country, Indiana State University) grew up in Valparaiso. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Mason Nobles’s, in full.

A couple things that make my community Valparaiso, Indiana a great place to raise a family are the people that are around you constantly. They are very happy, very nice, very caring about everybody. They're very inclusive. They're just great people to be around in general. Very safe. It is a very safe community, very safe town. I don't think there's ever been a moment where I have genuinely worried that I was unsafe or in this town. There's also an organization called Valparaiso Parks Department that puts on sports camps, summer camps for little kids and their families to go to so that they can meet other little kids that are their age and connect with them as well as the parents to connect with each other and it's just a great place to meet other people. There's a lot of opportunities that are here and it's very safe. It's a great place overall.
