Hi, my name is Anthony Wyatt, and I come to you today to tell you about a teacher or mentor from high school that shaped me and how they carry it into my life now. So, Coach McNair, Mr. McNair is what we really call him. The lessons that he taught me in life and how they carry to me now in my adult life is just to keep pushing. Things get hard, don't just give up. It always gets hard before it gets easier. I was in Shelby County Middle School, Shelby County High School when I spent my time with him. And he was a coach slash teacher, so he always pushed for the best in class. He always pushed for the best on the field, and he just never let me be mediocre. He always wanted the best because he would always tell me how much potential he'd seen in me as far as my skill and talent. But he always told me skill and talent without any discipline really doesn't go too far.
