The answer, as recorded

Transcript. What follows is a transcript of the video above, in kantrel smith’s own words. It has not been rewritten, and no part of it was drafted for them.

My name is Cantrell Smith and I'm a current athlete at the University of the Cumberlands and I play defensive line. So a real inspirational mentor in my life that taught me a lot in high school, his name is Coach Myers, Jeremy Myers. He goes to, I went to school in Suwannee, Georgia, so he coached at P.C. Ridge High School. He was our strength and conditioning coach and he taught me that even no matter how much you love a sport, there's still a balance between that and life, but to always keep the Lord first. He was a proper example of, I don't see this, he was a really good example of faith, family, football, and watching somebody live that and not just say that can really impact you because he was a man of very, very, very integrity and faith-based person. So with that being said, the way he would go about his day and conduct himself in public environments is something that I'll just never forget and showing up all the time. He never did not show up. He was always early. It's crazy, no matter what life threw at him. Shout out Coach Myers, man.
