Hi, my name is Kia Henderson. I'm a basketball player at Kentucky State University. My hometown of Livonia, Michigan has very amazing businesses. Some that stick out to me would be Sweet Cakes by Michelle, Joe's Gourmet Market, and Westbourne Market. Sweet Cakes by Michelle is a small business that has provided families with plenty of different things. Not only do they make amazing pastries and desserts, they also cater and give back to those during times of holidays that they can't do for themselves, such as birthday cakes for those who couldn't afford it. Also, Joe's Market is something that families for generations have been going to to get their produce. Joe's Market always hosts giveaways and community give back events where they're giving food to the homeless or they're giving food to the less fortunate. And also, Westbourne Market. Westbourne Market is amazing. Westbourne Market provides food such as free lunches and after-school lunches to kids all throughout Livonia, Michigan. These three small businesses stand for something that is greater than just their business. I really, truly appreciate these small businesses. They stand out to me, and they're very worth visiting. Thank you.
