My high school biology teacher, Mrs. Hoffman, is someone I will always remember. She taught AP biology, which is one of the hardest classes at our school, and she always challenged us in different ways every class. We always had homework and projects to be working on, and she had strict instructions on how to complete everything. It was challenging, but her teaching style taught me how important being creative and testing your knowledge is. She would have us do blankouts during class on occasion, where we would write down everything we knew about a certain topic with no notes or technology in order to challenge our brains to see what we really knew. I developed great study habits from this class, and not only that, but she also gave us great advice for life in general, like to never stop learning and challenging yourself, which is something I will always remember.
