Community Voices: Kelly on raising a family in Greenwich

Greenwich is one of the best places to live. There are many beaches as well as restaurants. I particularly go to J.Crew and Ari and I get out at the Greenwich Plaza.

Kelly Martyanov (Soccer, Centenary University) grew up in Greenwich. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Kelly Martyanov’s, in full.

Greenwich is one of the best places to live. There are many beaches as well as restaurants. I particularly go to J.Crew and Ari and I get out at the Greenwich Plaza. There's a whole place called Greenwich Avenue filled with restaurants and clothing stores and it's just a great place where many people shop. There's Starbucks as well. So many people go there and you know eat out and dine at the fine restaurants and then shop at the expensive clothing stores too. And then there's a beach nearby and there's a lot of parks. There's Bruce Park and then there's another park where I do my runs. But overall I just think that it brings a place, Greenwich brings a place full of stability and I mean if you have a good amount of money you can really like live in one of the best and safest areas in the world with the best educational systems as well as a place with many strong athletes who end up going to places such as UCLA, Stanford, Duke, Princeton, etc. So a lot of people go on to become very successful and you know do good things for the community and I think it's just a place filled with stability and safety and a really good place where you want to grow up. So I highly recommend it and I enjoyed my life here.
