Community Voices: Brittney on why Algonquin is a good place to raise a family

I believe what makes my community a great place to raise a family is that there's a lot of opportunities to pursue a fulfilling life.

Brittney Burak (Cross Country, Indiana State University) grew up in Algonquin. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Brittney Burak’s, in full.

I believe what makes my community a great place to raise a family is that there's a lot of opportunities to pursue a fulfilling life. Like for example, I never ran short on resources growing up playing multiple sports. I did a lot of softball and basketball and I felt like I was always supported by coaches and parents and just my community in general. There's also a lot of opportunities within the church and within the community just to become more involved in things that you're passionate about. And also my community is a great place to raise a family because everything is super well kept and super safe and it just always feels like the environment is home-like and will never let you down.
