Growing up in Houston, Texas, I've seen firsthand what makes this city a great place to raise a family. As a student-athlete, I was fortunate to have coaches, teachers, and community members who invested in my success and encouraged me to work hard, both in the classroom and in sports. Houston's diversity, strong sense of community, and family-friendly places like Herman Park and NRG Stadium give families opportunities to connect and create lasting memories. I've also seen neighbors come together to support one another during difficult times, especially after storms and other challenges. That willingness to help each other, combined with the opportunities available for education, sports, and personal growth is what makes Houston such a special place to call home and a great community for families to thrive.
