Community Voices: Tyler on a San Diego business worth knowing about

Three small business owners in my community who have had a positive or meaningful impact on me would probably have to be Tony Johnson.

Tyler Becker (Football, California State University, Fresno) grew up in San Diego. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Tyler Becker’s, in full.

The question

Name three small business owners in your community who have had a meaningful impact on others or inspired you personally. Who are they, and why do they stand out as a pillar of your community?

The answer, as recorded

Transcript. What follows is a transcript of the video above, in Tyler Becker’s own words. It has not been rewritten, and no part of it was drafted for them.

Three small business owners in my community who have had a positive or meaningful impact on me would probably have to be Tony Johnson. He's a basketball trainer throughout the neighborhood and really takes a lot of kids in and helps them get better at what they do and really pours time and effort into them. Another person would probably have to be Mr. Jason who owns like three pizza shops in the community and he really helped a lot of young kids like me in high school be able to work for him and start making money at a young age. The last person would probably have to be Mr. Solomon over at the gym. He's another basketball or a strength coach actually. He's a strength lifting coach and he puts a lot of people on a good plan to just help them get better at what they need to do whether if that's getting healthier or just performing in their sport.
