The question

I think Georgetown is an amazing place to raise children because it has a strong sense of community. Community as I've seen has shaped my entire experience growing up and would be great for children to be surrounded by that community of teachers, parents, friends. There's a really amazing sports teams out here and I also feel like the community as a whole is very safe, welcoming, and family-oriented. There's lots of events to do, parks to go to, restaurants and things that are fun for children to attend. People genuinely support each other and if I were raising children I would want people that were supporting my children the same way that I got supported, especially as far as sports goes. There's opportunities for kids to stay active, stay involved. The school systems are also amazing around here, not to mention the city is growing immensely and I see it only going up from here as far as things to do, events, and places to go with your children. It's the kind of place that always feels like home and I would want to raise my kids in a place like Georgetown. Again, this is Maddie Chaney signing off from Georgetown, Texas.
