Hanna Davis (Lacrosse, Syracuse University) grew up in NY. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Hanna Davis’s, in full.
The question
Tell a story about a moment when your hometown came together or achieved something that made you proud.
The answer, as recorded
Transcript. What follows is a transcript of the video above, in Hanna Davis’s own words. It has not been rewritten, and no part of it was drafted for them.
A time where my hometown came together and really made me proud was a few years ago on 9-11. A bunch of people in my hometown, a lot of my teachers and a lot of my fellow friends, we all came together and ran the stairs and some people walked it, the stairs of our high school football stadium and just seeing everyone support and show so much care for such a tragedy that happened was really meaningful to me and being able to watch everyone just run up and down the stairs and work so hard and it was just really cool to see and just really made me proud of the people that I surround myself with.
