My name is Isaiah Cohen. I'm a junior basketball player at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. One moment that made me proud of my hometown is when the Kansas City Royals won the 2015 World Series with players featuring Eric Hosmer and Salvador Perez. This was an incredible achievement for the Royals franchise as they have not won a World Series in a very, very, very long time. It was a sea of blue downtown in the Country Club Plaza in downtown Kansas City in order to celebrate this World Series win where they had players and all types of people from the Royals franchise on vans to celebrate with the fans. We got out of school for the day and I remember it just like it was a little bit ago. It was awesome.
