Jayden Holmes (Wrestling, Montreat college) grew up in NC. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Jayden Holmes’s, in full.
The question
Tell us about the downtown or Main Street in your hometown — the town you grew up in, not your college town. What's there, what's changed? Name the places you'd point a visitor to, and tell us what's different from when you were growing up.
The answer, as recorded
Transcript. What follows is a transcript of the video above, in Jayden Holmes’s own words. It has not been rewritten, and no part of it was drafted for them.
Downtown Charlotte is known for being incredibly social, incredibly big, and there's always something going on. There's something new every day. If you look online, there's always flyers, posters, links to these events. It's always something going on. A place that I regularly hung out was a sushi place called Rock and Roll Sushi. It was a conveyor belt situation going on. It was really good sushi, and you could watch the chefs make the sushi in the back while you were eating. I think it was a really cool experience.
