The answer, as recorded
Transcript. What follows is a transcript of the video above, in Kaitlyn Morningstar’s own words. It has not been rewritten, and no part of it was drafted for them.
Three small businesses that stand out to me in Edwardsville, Illinois are 222 Artisan Bakery, Goshen Coffee Company, and the Wildy Theater. The owner of 222 Artisan Bakery stands out to me because they've really created a place that feels personal and community focused. It's been the place, it's been my very favorite coffee place in Edwardsville since I've grown to like coffee since I was younger. Also, Goshen Coffee Company is impactful because they built something that goes beyond Edwardsville while still representing it. I know it is my parents and my sister's favorite place for coffee as we, as you can tell, are all avid coffee lovers. So that brings a personal heartfelt connection to the city. And lastly, the Wildy Theater is meaningful because it brings culture and entertainment into the community and the people behind it have preserved a historic place and turned it into a hub for events, shows, and local gatherings. And it's very heartfelt to me as well, and I really love the historic aspect of it.
