Community Voices: Tyler on a Annapolis business worth knowing about

Three small businesses that come to my mind are the Amish Market, Joe's Gym, and Corner Mart. The Amish Market is a place where people have sold vegetables and fruits for a long time.

Tyler (Basketball, Bluefield) grew up in Annapolis. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Tyler’s, in full.

Tyler for HelloNation.

The question

Name three small business owners in your community who have had a meaningful impact on others or inspired you personally. Who are they, and why do they stand out as a pillar of your community?

The answer, as recorded

Transcript. What follows is a transcript of the video above, in Tyler’s own words. It has not been rewritten, and no part of it was drafted for them.

Three small businesses that come to my mind are the Amish Market, Joe's Gym, and Corner Mart. The Amish Market is a place where people have sold vegetables and fruits for a long time. They later started to get their own small business that later grew into a bigger business where they were able to get their building. This building sells furniture, fruits, vegetables, cakes, pies, anything you can think of. They even give food back to the community. I can remember them from when I was a little kid to a grown man. Another business is Joe's Gym. Joe is an amazing person. Him and his staff are one-of-a-kind. They've helped me shape my body and mind to be the best person and athlete that I could be. This gym even helps the community and gives back. The last and foremost is The Carry Out. The Carry Out is a place where you can go get any meal you want and one of my favorite. If you are moving to Annapolis, Maryland, check them all out.
