Elliott Rossell (Baseball, University of the Cumberlands) grew up in IN. HelloNation asks student athletes one question about the place that raised them and records the answer on camera. This is Elliott Rossell’s, in full.
The question
Tell us about a person or business doing something worth knowing about in your hometown — the town you grew up in, not your college town. Who are they, what are they doing, and why should people outside your hometown hear about it?

Hello. In my hometown, Zionsville, Indiana, there is a local breakfast restaurant that is near downtown called Big Dave's Deli Sandwich. For me and all my friends, it was such a staple of when we grow up and even when we go back home from college, to go just grab a Big Dave's Sandwich, an Asiago Bagel, or a muffin, whatever that may be. The people there are super sweet when you walk in, and they still remember me to this day, even though I would go in high school a ton and now I'm in college, so it's very rare when I go back home. But they are always treating you with the utmost right respect, and that is something that I believe my town does a really great job at, in giving everybody, no matter where you come from or what state you're in, they will give you the most respect there is, and also provide some of the best breakfast sandwiches there is.
